Jake, of ScrubItGreen.com grew up in Reston Virginia. His Dad, a scientist, had designed part of the computer system for the Lunar Module which put the first man on the moon.

One day, Jake’s Dad came home with a photo of the earth that was taken from the Lunar Module. As he showed it to his son, he spoke of our planet. Jake was so taken by his Dad’s passion for our world that he promised to one day do something that might help protect it.

Jake, a naturally entrepreneural and inventive type and a 30 year veteran from the service business industry launched Purple Moon Group, LLC in 2012. It is a solutions company that finds answers for a variety of issues anywhere from dog training to web design. It then provides the services to actually solve the problems.

After a 30 year quest to solve a problem that Jake had for himself of finding a simple and earth friendly approach to washing cars, he created the answer with Scrub It Green. This Waterless Car Wash and detailing System, using bicycles to transport the staff and equipment was an Eco-Friendly approach that could help protect the earth while making cars their cleanest.

The lightweight, mostly recycleable bicycle and trailer (left) are used to both advertise the mobile car wash system while moving it from one location to another. They make for a much smaller carbon footprint than that of fossil-fuel guzzling trucks and vans.
